BLAST FROM THE PAST:
The sand arts festival came and went some time ago but I thought it fit to share a few of the photos none-the-less. After all, it was an adventure that I experienced and what kind of friend would I be if I didn’t share it with you!
There was a sizable crowd out but nowhere near to the crowd out at the Sidewalk Arts Festival. I supposed the timing was a great factor or perhaps not as many people were beach fans. The heat was in full force but we were well prepared with beach towels and a small picnic was ins tore for when we got hungry. (Highlight of my day! 🙂 – well … ) There were some really nice pieces that stood out to me …. hope you like!
Something is wrong with your theme. You click a thumbnail, it goes to a page but you can’t see the picture that you clicked on.
If you mean from the home page – the previous theme made the featured image really large in the actual posts so i ended up deleting the pic so i wouldn’t repeat it … then I changed the theme and it doesn’t view in the post at all! tried correcting that but it got tiresome after a while with 100+ posts lol
Wonderful captured all these sand sculptures… 🙂
thank you 🙂 Glad you like!
Some talented people there. It reminds me of the snow statues we built for Winter Carnival when I was in college. Sand, snow… you work with what you have, right?
in deed! That sounds good. They worked with sand and I guess whatever they thought would accentuate the design.
We had sand sculptors when I worked at SeaWorld. Amazing the things they could do.
Awesome . ice sculptors are also pretty cool!
